4th of July – 2021

Thanks to everyone who participated in the parade and came to the picnic. People were very generous with their potluck dishes and there were plenty of hot dogs and food for all. Thank you to everyone who bought a Graniteville Fire Company t-shirt. A special tribute was held for the late Chief Paul Stone. The new Fire Chief Rob Paulus was introduced and he told about his his experience as a former Battalion Chief, and his long association with Paul and the Graniteville Fire Department. He also made a presentation on spray foam as a fire preventative. Welcome to the new Chief.

Parade & Picnic – we’re back!

Come join us tomorrow, July 3rd, for the Graniteville Parade and Picnic. New Graniteville Fire Company #46 t-shirts available for $20.00! Parade sign up at 11:00 at the Schoolhouse, followed by a picnic. Bring something to share and enjoy a free hot dog. Hope to see you there!

The Graniteville Parade and Picnic is happening! – Sat. July 3rd

Join us on Saturday, July 3rd for a day of fun, friends and frolic at the Graniteville Independence Day parade and picnic.  Bring your best costume, float and kazoo and sign up for the parade at 11:00 am at the Graniteville Schoolhouse.  The parade will be followed by a picnic at the Schoolhouse – hot dogs and buns will be provided – please bring something to share. We are back in the saddle again.

Last year there was not much snow in February but this year there was a big wind storm that unfortunately did some damage (flattened the outhouse at the schoolhouse), followed by a blizzard that brought in 5′ of snow. Here are some photos taken between 2/6-2/9
